About Provider

About Ariane

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 4 years of experience providing individual and group counseling in community mental health, both inpatient and outpatient. I've supported clients with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, self-esteem, and relationship issues. I create a safe and supportive space where clients can explore challenges, reconnect with themselves, and begin moving toward clarity, healing, and meaningful change.

I earned my Master's in Social Work from Stephen F. Austin State University. I use evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and cognitive processing therapy for trauma to help clients identify and shift patterns that may be keeping them stuck.

My clients are met with warmth, respect, and non-judgment. I take a strength-based, solution-focused approach, walking alongside clients as they navigate difficult times. Whether struggling to feel like themselves, managing overwhelming emotions, or seeking guidance, clients find support and the possibility of healing.

Get to know Ariane

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?

My decision to become a counselor was sparked while I was overseas engaged in humanitarian work. Although I initially planned to pursue a career aligned with my BA in English, that transformative experience led me to reconsider my path. I discovered a deep passion for connecting with individuals on a personal level and supporting them exactly where they are. As a counselor, I am honored to walk alongside my clients and be part of their healing journey.

What types of clients do you work with best?

Adolescents and adults

How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?

I tailor therapy to each client by taking time to understand their unique experiences, strengths, challenges, values, and goals. I like to really get to know my client's and understand their world. No two people are the same, so therapy should never be one-size-fits-all. I work collaboratively with clients to create an approach that feels supportive, safe, and meaningful to them.

What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?

We'll spend time getting to know each other—I'll ask questions about what brought you in, your goals for therapy, and a bit about your background. You're welcome to share as much or as little as you're comfortable with; there's no pressure to dive into everything all at once. This is your space, and we move at your pace.

We'll also talk about what therapy might look like going forward, and I’ll answer any questions you have about the process. Most importantly, I want you to walk away from the first session feeling that this could be a space where real, meaningful work can happen—together.

What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?

Therapy is a collaborative journey where the client is an active participant. Clients decide what their goals are and what they hope to gain from sessions. There is no set time limit for therapy, and progress can look different for everyone.

What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?

My practice is grounded in the belief that every person deserves to feel heard, valued, and supported without judgment.
