About Angel

Angel Byrd is a Licensed Professional Counselor with 4 years of experience. She specializes in helping adolescents, adults, and seniors manage depression, anxiety, life transitions, and major or chronic illness diagnoses.

Angel believes people do not exist in a vacuum, and that we are part of everything around us. Our experiences in the world create a lens of how we see ourselves, and we have the power to write new narratives that are more conducive to the type of life we wish to live. Angel meets clients where they are and works collaboratively toward their goals.

Angel received her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Sam Houston State University. She utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, positive psychology, and a Humanistic approach.

What if life could be different? What if it didn't have to be this way? A world of possibilities is waiting to be explored and Angel would be honored to explore with you. Schedule an appointment and take your first step toward a happier existence today!
