What types of clients do you work with best?

Dr. Licea works best with clients who are honest and motivated to create meaningful change in their lives. She values openness and believes that when clients are ready to be real about their challenges, healing and growth can truly begin. If you’re ready to take an honest look at what’s holding you back and are motivated to make positive changes, Dr. Licea would be honored to support you on your journey. Together, you can work toward building a life that feels more balanced, fulfilling, and true to who you are.

What's one thing you wish all clients knew?

I truly believe that every client has a unique strength within them, even if they might not see it at first. My goal is to help you recognize and tap into that strength, guiding you toward healing and growth.

What inspires you?

I’m truly inspired by the positive changes I see in the clients I work with. Watching their growth, resilience, and progress is what motivates me every day. It’s an honor to be part of their journey, and I’m deeply committed to supporting you as you make meaningful changes in your life as well.

What can clients expect in their first session with you?

In the first session, we conduct a thorough psychiatric evaluation, which is a comprehensive assessment of your life history. This includes exploring important aspects such as your childhood, medical history, any previous psychiatric treatment, career, relationships, and overall life experiences. This process helps me gain a deeper understanding of who you are, your challenges, and how best to support you moving forward. By the end of the session the client will be informed of what they can expect in the following sessions.
