I am a counselor with a Master of Science in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling and a passion for helping children, adolescents, and adults navigate life’s challenges and discover their own strengths. My experience includes working with children and teens in school and community-based settings, supporting individuals facing anxiety, stress, family changes, low self-esteem, and relationship concerns. I especially enjoy working with adolescents and young adults who may feel overwhelmed, misunderstood, or uncertain about their future. I also work with adults experiencing anxiety, relationship concerns, and major life transitions.
Building a strong, trusting relationship with my clients is at the heart of my approach. I take time to establish genuine rapport so clients feel safe, heard, and comfortable being themselves. Through a warm, person-centered approach, I help clients understand their emotions, recognize their strengths, and make meaningful changes at their own pace.
You do not have to have everything figured out before reaching out for support. Where you are today does not determine where you can go tomorrow. With support, encouragement, and the right tools, you can write a better story for yourself. When you are ready, I would be honored to walk alongside you as you take that next step toward healing and growth.

"I understand that life can sometimes take us through difficult and unexpected seasons. My own life experiences have taught me the value of resilience, personal growth, and having someone who truly listens. I believe we all have the ability to grow, make meaningful changes, and find a new path forward, sometimes we just need a little support along the way."
Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I became a counselor because I truly believe that sometimes having just one person who listens, understands, and believes in you can make a difference in your life.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I have a special passion for working with children, teens, and adults who may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, misunderstood, or simply going through a difficult season.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
I wish everyone knew that counseling is not just for when something is wrong. It can be a safe place to talk, share openly, and have meaningful conversations without judgment. Sometimes simply having someone listen and offer a different perspective can help you better understand yourself, grow, and see things in a new way.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
In our first few sessions, my priority is getting to know you and building a relationship where you feel comfortable, understood, and respected. Establishing genuine rapport and trust is extremely important to me. I want you to feel that counseling is a safe space where you can be yourself, share at your own pace, and know that you are truly being heard.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
My own life experiences have taught me the importance of resilience, compassion, and having someone who genuinely believes in you. I value kindness, integrity, personal responsibility, and treating others with respect. These values shape my approach to counseling and my desire to meet clients where they are, without judgment, while encouraging them to recognize their strengths, grow, and create positive change in their lives.
