About Brianna
I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) with 6 years of experience supporting adolescents and adults navigating trauma, grief, generalized anxiety, depression, and addiction recovery. I take a person-centered, strength-based approach to therapy that is guided by each client’s readiness for change, personal values, and individual goals.
I earned my master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Clemson University. I am trained in motivational interviewing, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy. I also work from a neurodiversity-affirming perspective and incorporate experiential techniques to support emotional awareness and processing.
I believe healing is a courageous journey, and you do not have to walk it alone. I strive to create a supportive, collaborative space where you can explore your experiences, build self-acceptance, and work toward meaningful personal growth. I would be honored to support you as you take the next step in your healing process.

"As a neurodivergent woman, I recognize the emotional impact of navigating a complex world of sensory and social obstacles."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
To encourage others to be their authentic self.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
It is not a one size fits all, we are all unique in our healing. The journey to discovery and personal healing is not linear, it has ups, downs and reversals. Compassion with ourselves is key to success.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
Unconditional positive regard and identification of personal goals and desired outcomes.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
Identification of your strengths and limitations at our initial therapy appointment is most important for me to support you in the therapeutic process. I collaborate with my clients to see what they want to change or accept related to self and personal growth. I offer an approach where the client reflects who they are and where they want to be. I provide tools for motivation and reaching goals but I do not tell my clients what choices to make for themselves.
