About Andi
I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) with 12 years of experience in the mental health field. I specialize in supporting adults facing dual diagnoses, substance use, trauma-related concerns, and complex life stressors. Much of my work centers on individuals impacted by childhood trauma, domestic violence, narcissistic abuse, and work-related trauma.
I earned my master’s degree in community mental health from Southern New Hampshire University. My approach is person-centered and collaborative, focusing on the present moment and what you need most right now. I integrate trauma-informed care, emphasizing safety, stability, empowerment, and practical coping strategies that support lasting change.
Many clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or exhausted, often struggling with sleep, daily functioning, and relationships. You do not have to navigate this alone. Together, we can move at a pace that feels safe and manageable while building stability, healthier coping skills, and meaningful progress. When you are ready, I invite you to take the next step and schedule an appointment.

"Having lived experience with trauma, loss, and complex family relationships—including being a forever mother and part of a military family—I know what it’s like when life reshapes you and understand the courage it takes to rebuild and heal."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I chose this work because I understand the isolation that trauma can create. There was a time when I needed support and safety and wasn’t sure where to find it. Those experiences inspired me to become the kind of therapist I once needed—someone who offers a grounded, compassionate space and walks alongside clients as they heal.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I specialize in supporting middle-aged adults, survivors of domestic violence and narcissistic abuse, veterans and their loved ones, first responders, and individuals navigating anxiety and depression. My goal is to provide a steady, supportive space where healing feels possible and you don’t have to do it alone.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
Choosing therapy is a courageous step—especially when you’ve spent so long holding it together for everyone else. You may look like you’re managing on the outside, but inside you feel stretched thin, on edge, or completely drained. I want you to know this: change is possible. Healing is often gradual and deeply individual, but it’s real. Progress can mean fewer triggers, more ease in your body, quieter mornings, less dread, growing confidence, and the relief of finally taking a full breath.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
In our first session, we’ll move at your pace. I’ll ask questions to understand what’s bringing you to therapy and what you need most right now, while also focusing on comfort, safety, and trust. Together, we’ll identify goals and a direction for therapy that feels supportive and manageable.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
My values are rooted in resilience, compassion, and service. As someone who understands trauma and complex family dynamics—and who deeply respects the sacrifices of veterans, first responders, and their families—I strive to offer therapy that feels grounded, supportive, and practical. Those experiences, along with my values of compassion, honesty, and respect, guide the way I show up for clients—creating a steady, nonjudgmental space where healing can happen at your pace.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I meet you where you are. Together, we focus on what’s bringing you in, what you want to change, and the tools or support that best fit you.
