Why did you decide to become a counselor?
I believe in hope and I understand that there are points in life where people will feel hopeless and helpless and I want people to understand that they can work through their struggles to have a fulfilling life.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew?
That they have the strength to work through their struggles and can achieve their goals. They are not broken.
Why did you choose to practice at Thriveworks?
I appreciate the work Thriveworks does and I love the variety of therapy options they offer clients.
What inspires you?
My inspiration comes from being a dreamer and always looking for the good in people and better ways to enjoy life.
What can clients expect in their first session with you?
I am a very good listener and do not judge people. I feel everyone is different and those differences are what makes a person genuine.
What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?
I would like clients to feel comfortable in session.
What should clients know about you before scheduling a first counseling session?
I am very open minded. I want clients to feel comfortable and clients can process their thoughts and feelings at their own speed.
What do you do for fun/on your time off?
I enjoy reading, spending time outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
What's one thing about you that defines you (non-professional)?
I am my own person. I enjoy what I enjoy and don't feel like I need to follow trends.
