About Pamela
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) with 3 years of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families through anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, depression, and parenting concerns. I help clients explore their emotions, strengthen their connections, and develop healthier patterns in their daily lives. My goal is to create a warm, collaborative, and grounded space where you can gain insight, build new skills, and feel more empowered in your healing journey.
I earned my master’s in marriage and family therapy from Capella University. I draw from cognitive behavioral therapy, somatic therapy, and emotion-focused techniques to support deeper awareness and lasting change. Together, we will identify patterns that no longer serve you and create balance in your life.
Reaching out for support is a brave step, and you do not have to face life’s challenges alone. Healing and growth are possible. Therapy can be a meaningful step toward the change you’re seeking, and it is an honor to walk alongside you. Together, we can create the space you need to heal, grow, and thrive.

"As one who has experience with personal trauma and loss, I help my clients find hope and meaning while navigating life’s challenges with compassion, respect, curiosity, and practical tools for lasting well-being."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I love working with people, and I love to hear their stories. My desire is to help them make sense of their experiences and improve their relationships. I've always been a helper and a problem-solver; I desire to instill hope in my clients. I want them to live their best lives.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I pride myself on flexibility, curiosity, and empathy; these assist me to connect with most everyone. Clients who are open to exploring their emotions, relationships, and personal growth do well in a therapeutic relationship with me. Whether you’re managing anxiety, adjusting to life changes, or healing from past experiences, I help you find clarity and confidence through self-awareness and personal connection. I work best with teenagers and adults who feel stuck in patterns of anxiety, self-doubt, or stress and are ready to understand themselves more deeply and make meaningful changes in their lives.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
I wish everyone knew that they already hold the capacity for healing within themselves. Progress can be slow at times, but every small step forward matters. Growth often comes from showing up, even when it feels hard, and allowing yourself to be seen and supported in the process. Everyone has the capacity for growth; stuckness is a myth. Therapy helps uncover those strengths that will assist you with growth while providing tools to use them with confidence and compassion.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
In our first session, my clients can expect a welcoming and collaborative space to share what brings them to therapy and their goals for therapy. We’ll take time to get to know each other and begin exploring the patterns or challenges they'd like to work on. In the early stages of therapy, my focus is on building a strong therapeutic relationship, creating safety and trust, and working together at a pace that feels comfortable and supportive.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
I’m inspired by the resilience people show in the face of challenges. I have much life experience and have experienced many challenges myself. These challenges have confirmed my faith in personal connections and the power of prioritizing self. My work is guided by the belief that strong relationships—both with others and with ourselves—are key to well-being. I bring warmth, openness, and collaboration into every session.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I begin our time with a review of your family history, major life events, and relationships. We'll look for patterns and discover how family dynamics have impacted your own life and relationships. Each client brings their own pace, values, and experiences into therapy. I see my role as a partner in helping you discover what works best for you — integrating different approaches and continually checking in so our work remains aligned with your goals. I blend structure and flexibility to support your growth.
