Olivia Dalton is a Licensed Professional Counselor with 9 years of experience. She specializes in disordered eating concerns, perfectionistic thinking, anxiety, depression, family systems, attachment styles, and authentic personal growth and development. Olivia’s clinical work is rooted in validated theories and techniques and is consistently enriched by the latest research in psychology, neuroscience, and biology. She operates from a holistic perspective that values the mind-body connection.
Olivia has a Master of Education in Mental Health Counseling from Cambridge College. She combines a variety of therapeutic approaches with an exploration of family history, community, and support systems. Because everyone is unique, Olivia partners with each client to discover their innate strengths and provide appropriate resources.

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
To provide the ability to give each client I work with his/her voice to fully and safely express his/her thoughts, feelings and stories without feeling judged. To help the client see clearly their role and place in life and to find the hero within themselves, and to help the client be empowered to lead and enjoy their lives as productively as possible despite past and present hardships.

What's one thing you wish all clients knew?
Healing is not linear , its messy , its complicated ,and requires vulnerability and work but it is absolutely possible.

A warm ,inviting, and safe space ,where they are free to be their authentic selves.
What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?
I want to begin to get to know the individual and what they are looking for within a Therapist. Finding the right fit is important to the therapy journey.
What should clients know about you before scheduling a first session?
I love to laugh and others would say that I can be goofy, which I don't mind because I enjoy being myself and seeing others smile.
What do you do for fun/on your time off?
In my free time I enjoys being out in nature; hiking, running, biking, and swimming, spending time with family and friends including my rescue dogs, and coaching endurance athletes both physically and mentally.
What's one thing about you that defines you (non-professional)?
My relationships with those I love and my connection to the world around me.
