Mark Bingel McKillips

I am Mark, a licensed clinical social worker with 20 years of experience helping children, adults, and families work through challenges that impact their health and happiness. I work out of an office in Philadelphia and hold licenses in both Pennsylvania and California. I spent much of my career at a nonprofit agency that continues to serve trauma-impacted children and families in the San Francisco Bay Area. It was through this work that I grew to understand both the grave impact of trauma and the healing power of psychotherapy.

I draw on a variety of therapies to best match each client's needs, including cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, and gestalt therapy. I also have subspecialties in parent training, behavioral intervention instruction, and play therapy.

Regardless of therapeutic orientation, I believe enriching a person's story is key to change. When people author strength-based personal narratives, they find the strength to overcome doubt, fear, and worry. I believe everyone carries the power to change and heal, and I'm here to help you access that power through an expressive experience.
