About Lisa
I am Lisa Williams, a Licensed Professional Counselor with 13 years of experience working in outpatient and community settings. I am passionate about helping individuals manage anxiety, depression, grief, stress, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. My ideal clients are those who feel weighed down by responsibilities, relationship struggles, and uncertainty, and are seeking stronger communication, healthier boundaries, and clarity in their lives. My goal is to provide a collaborative and supportive space where clients can feel understood and empowered to move forward with confidence.
I hold a Master’s in Community Counseling from the University of Scranton. I use evidence-based approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, mindfulness techniques, person-centered therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy to support clients in a personalized and collaborative way.
I understand life can feel overwhelming at times, whether from anxiety, depression, grief, parenting stress, or relationship challenges. I provide a safe, supportive space to explore concerns, build coping skills, and gain clarity. If you’re ready to feel more supported and balanced, I would be honored to walk alongside you in your journey.

"Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, and I’m here to provide a safe, supportive space where you don’t have to go through it alone."

What type of clients are you most excited to work with?
I’m most excited to work with people who are ready to take charge of their well-being and grow in ways that feel meaningful to them.
What can clients expect in their first session with you?
In your first session, we’ll get to know each other, talk about what brings you to therapy, and begin setting goals—building a strong, supportive therapeutic relationship will be central to guiding the process and helping you move forward.
What do you do for fun/on your time off?
In my free time, I enjoy crafting and spending quality time with my family. These activities help me relax, recharge, and stay grounded, and I love bringing that same sense of balance and mindfulness into my work with clients.
What's one thing about you that defines you (non-professional)?
Curiosity defines me. I enjoy exploring new ideas, trying new things, and always learning something new about the world around me.
