Get to know David
Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I'm intensely interested in people, their stories, and the human condition—what began as a philosophical curiosity turned into a life calling rooted in empathy and care.
What types of clients do you work with best?
I work best with clients who are curious, open to reflection, and ready to explore the patterns holding them back so they can grow and thrive.
What type of clients are you most excited to work with?
I’m most excited to work with individuals who are ready to embrace self-awareness, develop emotional mastery, and take meaningful steps toward living their best lives.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew?
Growth isn’t about being perfect; it’s about showing up, doing the work, and giving yourself the grace to change one step at a time.
What can clients expect in their first session with you?
In our first session, clients can expect a warm, welcoming space to share their story, explore their goals, and begin shaping a plan for meaningful change.
What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?
I want to help clients feel heard, understood, and hopeful while setting the foundation for trust and collaboration in our work together.
What should clients know about you before scheduling a first session?
I bring both scientific knowledge and a deeply empathetic approach to therapy, blending warmth, wit, and evidence-based strategies to guide growth.
What do you do for fun/on your time off?
I spend my free time exploring the things I love—playing the piano and guitar, diving into books, learning about history, science, and spiritual traditions, and enjoying music, whether at home or at concerts. I also recharge by spending time outdoors and cherishing quality moments with my family.
