Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I wanted to become a counselor because I have always enjoyed helping and listening to others. I have experienced mental health struggles in my family and I want to help people going through similar challenges.

I work best with clients who are motivated and would like to make changes in their lives.
What type of clients are you most excited to work with?
I am most excited to work with children and adolescents as I find them fulfilling to work with.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew?
I wish all clients knew that it is okay to see therapy as a sign of strength, not weakness. I wish clients knew that they possess strengths and are capable of change.
Why did you choose to practice at Thriveworks?
I chose to practice at Thriveworks because I like that the flexible schedule gives more availability for clients to be seen, and I enjoy being part of a supportive network to collaborate and to achieve the best outcome for clients.
What inspires you?
I am inspired by seeing how resilient clients can be and the changes and progress they can make over time.
What can clients expect in their first session with you?
Clients can expect to go over goals and what they hope to get out of therapy. We will also spend time discussing what brought them to therapy and getting to know each other.

In the first session, I would like to have an understanding of what brought the client to therapy and the changes that they hope to make.
What should clients know about you before scheduling a first session?
Clients should know that I tailor my approach to meet their needs.
What do you do for fun/on your time off?
I like to spend time outside, go on hikes, spend time with family/friends, watch Netflix, read, and spend time with my two cats.
What's one thing about you that defines you (non-professional)?
If I had to pick a defining trait for me it would be resilience. I have overcome a lot in my life and I am hoping to help others do the same.
