Why did you decide to become a counselor?
I have always known that I wanted to be in a profession that helps other people. After having an amazing experience of being in therapy in my young adulthood, I knew I wanted to enter the field so I could help people the way my therapist helped me!
What types of clients do you work with best?
I work best relationally, specifically with family dynamics! I also enjoy working with individuals, children, adolescents, young adults, and anyone experiencing life transitions.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew?
You are your biggest agent of change!
What inspires you?
I am always inspired by peoples' capacity to grow and change.
What can clients expect in their first session with you?
In our first session together we will explore what brought you to therapy, and how I can help you achieve your therapeutic goals.
What should clients know about you before scheduling a first counseling session?
I believe that therapy is a place to push ourselves to change. After building trust with one another, it is my job to push you in order to create the changes you want to see in your life!
What do you do for fun/on your time off?
I love to cook, spend time with friends and family, and snuggle with my dog!
