About Adrienne
I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with 15 years of experience providing mental health care to individuals and families. I support children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, parenting concerns, and interpersonal challenges. My work is grounded in collaboration and focuses on helping clients build insight, confidence, and practical skills to improve daily functioning and emotional well-being.
I hold a master’s degree in social work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. My background includes in-home family therapy, individual outpatient care, and hospital-based work. I use evidence-based approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing to tailor treatment to each client’s goals.
I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe exploring challenges and working toward meaningful change. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, adjusting to a new role, or seeking greater balance, I am here to support you. I invite you to schedule a session when you are ready.

"As a clinician who has worked in multiple settings, I believe healing happens in relationships, and I work to create a space where people feel safe being honest, curious about themselves, and supported through change."
Get to know Adrienne
What types of clients do you work best with?
People who are open and honest with themselves and others.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
Change is hard and the process of going through therapy is a change. The steps should be small so they can be achieved but even thought they are small, all changes will have a big impact.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
Conversation and enough time for us both to get to know each other and set goals.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I tailor therapy through ongoing assessment of each client’s clinical presentation, history, strengths, needs, and treatment goals, using this information to collaboratively develop and adjust an individualized treatment plan. I integrate evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing, and modify the pace, structure, and focus of sessions based on client response and progress. Treatment is continuously evaluated and refined to ensure interventions remain effective, goal-directed, and aligned with the client’s evolving needs. Patients are encouraged to discuss their successes and challenges as part of an ongoing, collaborative process in order to collaboratively assess progress, identify barriers, and adjust treatment goals as needed.
