About Tiffany
I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) with 15 years of experience supporting adults, adolescents, and families navigating trauma, stress, and major life transitions. I help clients who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or emotionally exhausted reconnect with their strengths, build clarity, and move toward emotional balance, healthier relationships, and a renewed sense of direction.
I earned my master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling from Langston University. My work draws from trauma-informed care, cognitive behavioral therapy, and integrative strategies to help clients build coping skills, strengthen self-awareness, and create meaningful, lasting change.
You deserve a space where you feel supported, understood, and valued. Reaching out takes courage, and you do not have to navigate this journey alone. I would be honored to walk with you as you work toward healing, growth, and a life that feels more grounded and fulfilling.

"I understand the strength it takes to keep going while supporting a military family, and I bring that same compassion and resilience to the way I walk alongside my clients in therapy."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I chose to become a counselor after seeing firsthand how access to support, guidance, and stability can make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. My background includes long-term exposure to high-stress environments, frequent transitions, and multigenerational family responsibilities. These experiences helped me understand how life stress, trauma, and change can affect mental health over time. They also motivated me to pursue a career focused on helping individuals and families build coping skills, emotional balance, and a clearer path forward.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work well with adults and families who feel overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or unsure how to move forward. Many of my clients are navigating major life changes, long-term stress, caregiving roles, or unresolved trauma. I also have experience supporting military-connected individuals and others who are used to carrying responsibility for others and are ready to focus on their own well-being.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
I wish clients knew that therapy is not about being perfect or having everything figured out. It is about making steady progress, being honest about challenges, and having a safe place to talk things through. You do not need to be “at your best” to start therapy. Small, consistent steps often lead to meaningful and lasting change.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
In the first session, clients can expect a calm, respectful, and non-judgmental environment. We focus on understanding what brought you to therapy, what is working, and what feels difficult right now. Early sessions are collaborative and move at a pace that feels comfortable. Together, we identify goals, notice patterns, and begin developing practical tools to help you feel more stable and supported.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
My practice is guided by values such as resilience, respect for individual backgrounds, and cultural awareness. I place a strong emphasis on understanding how family history, environment, and life transitions shape emotional health. These values help me approach each client with openness, flexibility, and a focus on practical support.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I use a flexible, collaborative approach rather than a one-size-fits-all model. Therapy is shaped by each client’s goals, background, and preferences. I draw from evidence-based methods such as trauma-informed care, cognitive-behavioral strategies, and solution-focused approaches, adjusting the pace and tools to fit what works best for each individual.
