Becky Stanford is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years of experience. She specializes in supporting individuals, couples, and families with issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, life transitions, grief, chronic illness, and co-occurring disorders. Throughout her career, Becky has worked in settings including outpatient clinics, hospitals, community agencies, and private practice. She has a deep understanding of trauma-informed care, mental health disorders, and the complexities of personal growth and development.


Becky holds a Master’s in Social Work from Our Lady of the Lake University. Her approach combines evidenced-based techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and solution-focused therapy with a compassionate, client-centered style emphasizing trust.

Facilitated the first Stress Management through Mindfulness Group offered in the General Internal Medicine Clinic at OU Health.
Provided training and education to peers including psychology interns, social work students and pastoral candidates in the PTSD Clinic.
Eight years of successful facilitation and co-facilitation of psycho-education, evidenced-based, and process therapy groups:CPT-A for Combat Trauma and Military Sexual Trauma (MST), Mindfulness for Stress Management, Sleep and Nightmare Management, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Chronic Pain and Skills Training in Affective and Interpersonal Regulation (STAIR).
