About Naomi
I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) with 13 years of experience supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds. I specialize in treating anxiety and depression and also work with concerns related to grief and loss, career challenges, parenting concerns, and major life transitions.
I earned my master’s in mental health counseling from Southern Nazarene University. My therapy style is grounded in cognitive behavioral therapy and client-centered care, creating space for clients to express themselves openly while focusing on practical strategies for growth and healing.
I strive to create a collaborative and compassionate environment where we work together toward your goals. Therapy is a journey, and I am here to support you through each step with understanding, encouragement, and respect as you move toward lasting change.

"As an individual who has experienced anxiety, depression, loss, and personal trauma, I have a lived experience of what it is like to try to manage life surrounded by people who do not understand what you are going through. I know how empowered one feels after conquering these challenges."

What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
Therapy is a journey, and each persons' journey looks different. Some peoples' journeys take a little longer than others and that is okay. There is no timeframe for the healing process. Progress is the key, no matter how great or how small.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
In our first session, we'll get to know each other and discuss what brings you to therapy. I'll ask about your goals and concerns, and we'll begin building a plan that feels right for you.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I allow space for the client to set the tone for the environment. I have found that some people need more guidance while others just need a listening ear.
