About Nancy
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) with a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, substance use concerns, relationship challenges, life transitions, and circumstances leaving them feeling overwhelmed.I particularly enjoy working with individuals ready to better understand themselves, recognize patterns holding them back, and create meaningful change. My goal is to provide a supportive space to explore your experiences without judgment and work toward a more fulfilling and authentic life.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and eclectic, integrating person-centered therapy, motivational interviewing, CBT, psychoeducation, existential, and solution-focused approaches. I tailor our work to your unique needs, helping you gain insight, build practical skills, recognize your strengths, and create meaningful change.
You don't have to have everything figured out before beginning therapy. Wherever you are in your journey, I will meet you with compassion, empathy, and without judgment. When you're ready, I invite you to take the next step toward greater understanding, healing, and meaningful change by scheduling an appointment.

"As a bilingual clinician who has experienced life’s unexpected changes and transitions, I understand how challenging it can be to find your footing again, and I value creating a space where you feel understood, respected, and empowered to reconnect with your strengths, find balance, and move forward with purpose."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I became a counselor because I have always been drawn to understanding people—their stories, experiences, strengths, and the circumstances that shape who they are. I value being able to walk alongside others during difficult or uncertain seasons of life and help them recognize that meaningful change is possible, even when the path forward may not yet feel clear.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work well with adolescents and adults who may be navigating anxiety, depression, substance use concerns, relationship or family challenges, life transitions, low selfesteem, or simply feeling stuck or uncertain about what comes next. I especially value working with clients who want to better understand themselves, build on their strengths, and create meaningful and sustainable changes in their lives.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
I wish every client knew that healing is not linear, and progress does not always look like moving forward every day. Sometimes growth happens in small, quiet ways—setting a boundary, understanding yourself differently, responding instead of reacting, or simply showing yourself more compassion. Therapy is not about becoming a different person; it is about developing a deeper understanding of yourself and discovering what helps you live more authentically.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
Our first sessions are an opportunity for me to get to know you beyond the concerns that brought you to therapy. We will explore what you have been experiencing, what is important to you, and what you hope to gain from our work together. I prioritize creating a comfortable, nonjudgmental space and moving at a pace that feels right for you. Together, we will begin identifying goals and developing a direction for therapy that feels meaningful and realistic.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
My own experiences with life’s unexpected changes and transitions have strengthened my appreciation for resilience, adaptability, and the importance of feeling genuinely supported during difficult times. I bring those values into my work by approaching each person with empathy, respect, and an understanding that their experiences are uniquely their own. I believe people deserve to feel heard without judgment and empowered to find their own path forward.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I believe therapy should adapt to the person, rather than expecting the person to adapt to one therapeutic approach. My style is eclectic and collaborative, drawing from person-centered therapy, motivational interviewing, CBT, psychoeducation, existential, and solutionfocused approaches. I consider your personality, experiences, culture, strengths, goals, and readiness for change to determine what may be most helpful, while regularly checking in about what is—and is not—working for you.
