I’m a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) with a background in art therapy, and I bring a warm, genuine, and collaborative approach to my work. I work with adolescents and adults, including LGBTQ+ clients, navigating anxiety, ADHD, depression, trauma, relationships, grief and loss, and major life transitions. I often work with people who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from themselves and want a space to better understand what they’re experiencing and find a way forward that feels true to them.
I take a person-centered, collaborative approach, incorporating mindfulness and expressive arts alongside practical strategies tailored to your needs and goals. Together, we can build self-awareness, develop coping skills, and explore new ways of navigating life’s challenges.
Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, especially when you’re not sure where to begin. I’d be honored to meet you where you are, listen without judgment, and support you in taking the next step toward feeling more grounded, understood, and connected to yourself. When you’re ready, I invite you to schedule an appointment.

"Life has taught me that growth rarely happens in a straight line, and that having a space where you can be honest, feel understood, and make sense of what you’re experiencing can make all the difference. I bring that belief into my work with each client."
Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I became a counselor because I’ve always been drawn to understanding people—their experiences, relationships, strengths, and the stories they carry with them. My Jewish identity has influenced my belief in the importance of community, compassion, and being present for others through life’s challenges. I wanted to create a space where people can feel genuinely seen and supported while developing a deeper understanding of themselves and finding their own path forward.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work best with people who are curious about themselves and ready to better understand the patterns, experiences, and relationships that shape their lives. I especially enjoy working with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, ADHD, relationships, grief and loss, identity, and major life transitions. I welcome LGBTQ+ clients and anyone looking for a compassionate, nonjudgmental space to feel more grounded and connected to themselves.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
I wish every client knew that struggling doesn’t mean you’re failing. Life can be complicated, and healing rarely happens in a straight line. You are allowed to move at your own pace, change your mind, and take up space while you figure things out. Therapy can be a place to meet yourself with more compassion along the way.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
In our first session, we’ll get to know each other and talk about what brings you to therapy, what you hope to work toward, and what feels most important to you. Early sessions are about building trust and creating a foundation for our work together—you won’t be expected to have everything figured out. As we get to know one another, we’ll work collaboratively to identify goals and approaches that feel meaningful and comfortable for you.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
My own experiences navigating life’s transitions have taught me to appreciate that growth and change can look different for everyone. Alongside my experience working with people across different stages of life, this has shaped my belief in meeting each person without assumptions or a one-size-fits-all approach. My background in art therapy also informs my appreciation for creativity, self-expression, and the many ways we make meaning of our experiences.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I tailor therapy by getting to know each client’s experiences, strengths, preferences, and goals rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach. Depending on what feels most helpful, I may incorporate mindfulness, expressive arts, reflection, or practical skill-building. We’ll regularly check in about what is and isn’t working and adjust our approach as your needs evolve.
