Why did you decide to become a counselor?
I have always enjoyed helping individuals. I love being an advocate for others and being a positive influence for others. Seeing people have a support system when they may think they do not.
What types of clients do you work with best?
Children, adolescents, adults and families. I enjoy working with all populations. Helping clients navigate skills to get through life stressors. I like working with clients who are open to change and having guidance.

I enjoy working with all clients. Each individual is unique.
What’s one thing you wish all clients knew?
It's okay to get uncomfortable. Therapy can be a safe place for individuals.

What inspires you?
I am inspired when i see individuals overcome obstacles and learn from experiences they have been through.
What can clients expect in their first session with you?
A first session can consist of getting to know the client and discussing interests of the client. Exploring what the client would like out of therapy. Exploring what has worked and not worked in the past for the client.
What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?
Discussing expectations and goals of therapy. Give the client time to ask specific questions they may have. Make sure the individual is comfortable.
