About Samuel
Samuel Everette is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 22 years of mental health experience. He is enthusiastic and passionate about helping children, families, as well as individuals. Samuel specializes in depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, parenting, domestic violence, and male issues.
Samuel completed his Master of Social Work (MSW) at East Carolina University. He is a husband and father who is familiar with the challenges facing individuals and families in today’s difficult times. With his personal and professional experiences combined, he is able to provide a person-centered view interwoven with each session. Samuel uses several treatment modalities including, DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), TF-CBT (Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy.
Life serves us many different challenges not only on an individual level but also in our communities and society as a whole. With that said, there are also many joys, blessings, and milestones that are just waiting to be experienced! Samuel is willing to partner with you in your personal journey and desires to assist you in discovering what success means to you.

Why did you decide to become a counselor?
I have always had a passion with helping people dating back to my high school years. What I have learned through experience is that help looks different for each individual I encounter and that the client is the expert about their situation.
What types of clients do you work with best?
I work best with individuals, children, and families.
What type of clients are you most excited to work with?
I am most excited to work to work with everyone!

That change and growth is possible!
