About Priamos
I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor (LCMHC) with over 20 years of experience providing therapeutic services to adults, adolescents, children, and families. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, attachment concerns, grief and loss, adjustment challenges, and personality-related concerns. I am passionate about supporting diverse populations and helping clients build resilience, insight, and emotional balance.
I earned my master’s degree in clinical counseling from Webster University. My approach is evidence-based and trauma-informed, incorporating cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, parent-child interaction therapy, and eco-systemic family therapy. I focus on building therapeutic rapport while supporting meaningful, sustainable change.
Life’s challenges can feel overwhelming, but therapy can help you develop awareness, effective coping strategies, and renewed confidence. I provide a compassionate, supportive space where you can explore your experiences, strengthen skills, and move toward personal growth and improved well-being. I look forward to supporting you on your healing journey.

"I desire to support others impacted by unique challenges and to be a resource for those in need of developing effective responses in cognition, emotion, and behavior to overcome life circumstances and achieve optimal functioning."
Get to know Priamos
Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
My upbringing and life experiences have shaped my perspective and outlook. I believe I have a unique ability to achieve empathy for others without judgment or bias in order to focus on sustaining success.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work well with all types of patient populations. However, I have a passion to assist African-American males through personal struggles similar to my own past and beyond. I enjoy working with children/families, teenagers/adolescents and adults individual therapy.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
One thing that all patients should be aware of is that ownership of every thought experience is not required. Understanding the relationship between thoughts, feelings and actions is critical to creating preferred outcomes.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
I seek to gather information effectively as well as establish therapeutic rapport in order to promote overall progress. After a sufficient level of understanding is achieved through patient expression, I will provide psycho-education in order to encourage patient understanding of the overall therapeutic process and their role.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
Each patient will play a role in the development of their treatment approach. This provides the opportunity for catering to needs and adhering to identified preferences within the therapeutic process.
