About Nicole
Nicole Baltimore is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with over 4 years of experience. She specializes in adolescents, adults, couples, and families who have a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, relationship issues, behavioral issues, and personality disorders. Nicole also has experience working with the geriatric population.
Nicole received her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. Nicole has experience in crisis intervention, community mental health, working with veterans, and displaced youth. Nicole utilizes a variety of clinical approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy, brief solution-focused therapy, and mindful based approaches.
Nicole believes in meeting others where they are to assist them with achieving their goals. Nicole believes it is important to highlight individual strengths in order to help others achieve their goals and looks forward to meeting with you to help you achieve a higher quality of life.

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I became a counselor so that I could help bring awareness to mental health issues, making it easier for people to seek the help they need.

I work well with all people from different backgrounds, cultures, religions and beliefs.
What type of clients are you most excited to work with?
I am excited to work with clients from all walks of life.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew?
I am super empathetic and motivated to help others find the path that emphasizes their best being.
Why did you choose to practice at Thriveworks?
I chose Thriveworks because it allows me the opportunity to work with people from different backgrounds who may not be comfortable with in person services.
What inspires you?
The resilience I see in people every day inspires me to want to help others.
What can clients expect in their first session with you?
You can expect confidentiality, empathy, open mindedness, and the care you need to help you move forward to the next stage in your life.
What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?
I would like to meet the client where they are, establish a level of comfortability so that they feel comfortable opening up in each session.
What should clients know about you before scheduling a first session?
I am flexible, I understand that life happens and they may need to reschedule appointments.
What do you do for fun/on your time off?
I am team mom to my 10 year old son's 3 football teams.
