Why did you decide to become a counselor?
I decided to be a therapist when I was in high school. I was exposed to my teenage friends and observed that all people struggle and I had an aptitude for active listening and validating their feelings. I decided then that I should be a therapist.
What types of clients do you work with best?
I work well with couples and people who struggle with any substance abuse and mental health conditions.

I want to put the patient at ease in the first session. I also want them to feel heard.
What should clients know about you before scheduling a first counseling session?
Patients should know that I work very hard to help them achieve their goals.
