About Miranda
Miranda Bradshaw is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist – Associate in the state of North Carolina. Miranda has experience working with adolescents and adults in various settings who are seeking help with depression, anxiety, life transitions, trauma, and addiction. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of North Carolina at Asheville and her Master of Social Work through the Joint Master of Social Work Program at the University of North Carolina – Greensboro and NC A&T State University. Miranda utilizes strength based, collaborative, relational, cognitive behavioral, solution focused and emotionally focused approaches in her practice. She wants therapy to be a place where individuals can find a sense of support and accomplishment as they progress toward their goals. Miranda seeks to provide a safe, and supportive environment for you to heal and grow at your own pace. She believes her role is to support individuals in finding their unique set of strengths and resources within themselves.

I love the privilege of helping people meet their goals!
What types of clients do you work with best?
I love working with all types of clients. I genuinely enjoy learning about the human experience and helping people realize their strengths and abilities.
What type of clients are you most excited to work with?
All clients!
What’s one thing you wish all clients knew?
I wish all clients knew how strong they already are. Coming to therapy can be intimidating or scary but taking that first step is so brave.

Thriveworks is able to reach so many clients with their resources.
What inspires you?
Life experience inspires me. Life is filled with ups and downs and learning from each step is so inspiring and sometimes exciting.
What can clients expect in their first session with you?
During the initial session I like to take time to get to know what goals you want to work toward. This is a great time to learn about experiences that led you to where you are today.
What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?
Setting clear goals.
What do you do for fun/on your time off?
I try to spend time with family as much as possible!

I love to find the humor in life.
