Hi, I’m Meagan, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) with a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a bachelor’s degree in Education. I work with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, low selfesteem, life transitions, and feeling overwhelmed. I also have specialized training in perinatal mental health and support clients navigating pregnancy, postpartum, and parenthood.
I use a warm, collaborative approach grounded in CBT and Solution-Focused Therapy, while drawing from other approaches based on each client’s needs. Together, we’ll explore patterns, build practical coping skills, and work toward meaningful, realistic goals. I strive to make therapy feel comfortable, genuine, and tailored to you.
You don’t have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. I’m here to meet you where you are, listen without judgment, and help you take the next steps at a pace that feels right for you. If you’re ready for support, I’d be honored to work with you.

"As someone who believes in the importance of genuine connection, I strive to make therapy feel comfortable and collaborative, where you can be yourself and work through what you’re experiencing without judgment."
Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I became a counselor because I genuinely enjoy connecting with people and helping them through the ups and downs of life. I wanted to create a space where clients can be themselves, feel heard, and work through challenges without judgment.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work best with clients who are open to exploring their thoughts, feelings, and patterns and want support navigating life’s challenges. I especially enjoy working with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, low selfesteem, trauma, or major life transitions.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
I wish every client knew that therapy doesn’t have to be about “fixing” yourself. You’re not broken—you’re learning, growing, and figuring things out. Healing takes time, and progress doesn’t have to be perfect to be meaningful.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
In our first session, we’ll get to know each other, talk about what brought you to therapy, and explore what you hope to get out of it. Early on, I’ll focus on building a comfortable, trusting relationship and getting a better understanding of what you need. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out right away.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
I value authenticity, empathy, and meeting people where they are. I believe everyone has their own story and experiences that shape how they see themselves and the world. My approach is grounded in creating a space where clients feel comfortable being themselves, while working together to build on their strengths and make changes that feel meaningful to them.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I tailor therapy by meeting each client where they are and following their individual needs and goals. I draw from different approaches, including CBT and solutionfocused techniques, while adjusting our pace and strategies based on what feels most helpful for each person.
