About Marsha
Marsha Clarke is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who has over 26 years of experience providing clinical assessment and therapeutic care to adults and couples seeking help with problems in living such as depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and chronic or terminal health conditions.
Marsha completed her Master of Social Work (MSW) at Hunter College, City University of New York. She approaches therapy with compassion and empathy and seeks to facilitate a safe, nonjudgmental, and supportive space. Marsha utilizes collaborative, strength based, cognitive behavioral , motivational interviewing techniques, solution focused, and emotionally focused approaches to therapy. She strives to always maintain the creativity, flexibility, and awareness necessary to best meet her client’s needs.
Marsha seeks to establish a warm and caring relationship with you in order to assist in bolstering your strengths and better collaborate with you towards achieving your goals and living the meaningful life you envision, value, and desire.

Why did you decide to become a counselor?
I want to be the change agent to help others live happy fulfill lives, by facilitating their connections to their internal strength.

Clients who are unsure about whether therapy works.
What type of clients are you most excited to work with?
Clients who resists the negative self talk and show up for their first session!
