Hello, I’m a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) with an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and 1 year of counseling experience. I work with college students, professionals, and individuals navigating anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, self-esteem, and cultural adjustment. I have a special interest in supporting diverse populations, including immigrants navigating identity, belonging, and adapting to new environments. I strive to help clients work through struggles, discover their strengths, and develop healthier ways of coping.
My approach integrates CBT, Person-Centered, Reality, and Strengths-Based Therapy, incorporating ACT and psychodynamic techniques as needed. I provide a supportive space to explore emotions, understand past experiences, manage life challenges, build confidence, and develop practical coping skills. I value cultural sensitivity and personal growth.
You don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone. Wherever you are in your journey, you deserve to feel heard, supported, and understood. You are welcome to show up just as you are, without pressure to have everything figured out. When you feel ready, I look forward to walking alongside you as you work toward growth and healing.

"As someone who values cultural diversity and understands the challenges and daily stressors, I strive to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow at your own pace."
Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
Having experienced the positive impact of therapy firsthand, I understand how meaningful it can be to have a space where you feel heard and supported. As someone who naturally empathizes with others and enjoys helping people, I felt counseling was a meaningful way to turn that passion into a profession and support others on their journeys toward healing and growth.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work best with adults, college students, and immigrants who are open to self-exploration, personal growth, and making meaningful changes in their lives.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
Therapy is a journey, not a quick fix. You don't have to wait until you're struggling to seek support, and difficult emotions are a normal part of life. You set the pace and goals, while your therapist walks alongside you. Healing takes time, honesty, and effort both in and outside of sessions.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
In our first session, we'll discuss what brings you to therapy, explore your background and concerns, and identify your goals. In the early sessions, we'll focus on building rapport and trust, understanding your needs, and developing practical strategies. We'll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you, working together toward meaningful progress.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
My own experience with therapy has shown me the value of feeling heard and understood. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to support you without judgment as we work toward your goals. I value empathy, cultural sensitivity, and collaboration, recognizing that everyone’s experiences are unique. I take an integrative approach that builds on your strengths and helps you develop healthier ways to navigate life’s challenges.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I tailor therapy to each client's unique needs, goals, and cultural background. I appreciate interventions that support their growth and well-being while working within my competence and adapting our approach based on their progress and feedback.
