Why did you decide to become a counselor?
I became a counselor because I believe people have the capacity to grow and heal when they feel deeply heard and supported. I value listening carefully to each person’s story and helping them make sense of their experiences.
What types of clients do you work with best?
I work best with clients who are motivated to grow and open to self-reflection. A willingness to explore and be honest with yourself is important for meaningful change. I especially connect with individuals who value compassion, accountability, and personal development.
What type of clients are you most excited to work with?
I am excited to work with growth-oriented individuals who want to better understand themselves and create meaningful, lasting change. I provide affirming care and strive to create a respectful, validating space where clients feel empowered rather than pathologized.
What’s one thing you wish all clients knew?
Therapy is not about being “fixed”; it’s about understanding yourself more fully. Showing up for therapy is an act of self-respect, and insight develops through curiosity, honesty, and self-compassion.
Why did you choose to practice at Thriveworks?
I chose Thriveworks because their commitment to ethical care, professionalism, and quality services aligns with my values. I believe therapy should be both nurturing and structured, offering warmth alongside clear direction.
What inspires you?
I am inspired by seeing clients gain their own insights and begin trusting themselves more. It is powerful to watch someone move from feeling overwhelmed to feeling grounded and capable.
What can clients expect in their first session with you?
In our first session, you can expect a warm and respectful environment. I prioritize listening to understand your unique experience. We will explore what brings you in, clarify your goals, and identify supportive next steps so that you leave feeling heard and hopeful.
What do you want to accomplish in the first session?
My goal is to understand your needs, begin building a trusting therapeutic relationship, and collaboratively create meaningful goals.
What do you do for fun/on your time off?
I enjoy fitness and holistic wellness. Staying active, spending time outdoors, and practicing intentional self-care are important parts of my life. I believe in caring for the mind, body, and spirit.
What’s one thing about you that defines you (non-professional)?
I value respect, integrity, and structure. I am intentional with myself and others, and I bring an attentive presence into both my personal life and my work.
