Hi, I’m Brittany Hall, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with a passion for helping individuals navigate life’s challenges. I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work from Jacksonville State University, where I developed a strong foundation in evidence-based practices and client-centered care. I work with adults and adolescents facing trauma, grief, anxiety, and life transitions—drawing from my own experiences with personal trauma and loss to offer an authentic understanding of how painful circumstances impact us while helping you build new skills that foster healing, resilience, and meaningful growth.
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I draw from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), strengths-based approaches, and trauma-informed care to help clients understand their thoughts and emotions. I specialize in trauma, grief, anxiety, and life transitions, creating a safe space where clients feel seen.
I understand that reaching out for support can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. I’m here to offer a safe, supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to move forward at your own pace. When you’re ready, I invite you to take the next step and begin your journey toward healing and growth.
"Grounded in my own experience with trauma and loss, I offer a compassionate, nonjudgmental approach that helps you process life’s challenges and build empowering skills for lasting change."
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
I wish all clients knew that it is okay to struggle with your mental health and it is okay to not be okay. Life can be difficult, and experiencing emotional challenges does not make you weak or broken. You deserve compassion, understanding, and support, and there is strength in allowing yourself the space to heal.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
In our first session, you can expect a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space to share what brings you to therapy. We will begin building trust, discussing your concerns and goals, and exploring how we can work together toward healing and growth at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
My practice is guided by compassion, empathy, authenticity, and a deep respect for each individual’s unique experiences and journey. My professional training and clinical experience, along with my personal experience with grief, have shaped my understanding of how life’s challenges can affect emotional well-being, relationships, and our sense of self. These experiences have strengthened my belief in the importance of providing a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where individuals feel valued, understood, and empowered to explore their emotions and experiences.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I tailor therapy to each individual's unique needs, experiences, strengths, and goals. By using a collaborative, person-centered approach, I incorporate therapeutic techniques that best support each client's growth, while creating a safe and supportive environment where they feel heard, respected, and empowered in their healing journey.
