About Provider

About Alexandria

I'm an LCSW with 7 years of experience supporting adults through life's challenges. I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, severe mental illness, and work affirmingly with queer and neurodivergent clients. Using an eclectic mix of approaches, I help clients cope with stress, uncover deeper patterns, and explore how past experiences shape their present. My ideal clients are open to self-discovery and growth, seeking clarity, resilience, and meaningful change.

I earned my Master of Social Work from Western Carolina University. I believe therapy works best when it feels safe, supportive, and collaborative. Blending practical tools with a compassionate presence, I help clients feel understood, discover new perspectives, and build the confidence to create lasting change.

I know reaching out for therapy can feel daunting, and I believe meaningful change only happens when you feel ready and supported. I offer a safe, affirming space to explore your story, gain tools for coping, and move toward healing at your own pace. If you're ready, I would be honored to walk alongside you.

Get to know Alexandria

What can clients expect in their first session with you?

During our first session, we will spend some time getting to know one another and exploring possible goals and methods for treatment. I prefer to allow clients to share with me as they feel comfortable to allow for person-centered treatment.

What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?

During the first session, my goal is to gain a better understanding of what YOU need and how I can support YOUR goals. I hope to end our first session with the beginnings of a trusting and collaborative relationship.

What should clients know about you before scheduling a first counseling session?

One of my top priorities as a therapist is to practice with positive unconditional regard. In other words, I am not here to judge you; I am here to support you through the good times and the bad. While we may have differing opinions, I will always support your autonomy and respect your perspectives.

What's one thing about you that defines you (non-professional)?

Some of my identities include: cat-lady, Appalachian, queer, helper, and neurodivergent.
