About Provider

About Stacey

I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) with 25 years of experience supporting individuals through a wide range of life challenges. I work with clients navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship concerns, self-esteem issues, and behavioral and emotional difficulties. My approach is collaborative and grounded in evidence-based practices that help clients clarify their goals and build meaningful change.

I earned my master’s degree in community counseling from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. My work integrates cognitive behavioral therapy, internal family systems, and other solution-focused, strengths-based approaches to help clients gain insight, develop effective coping strategies, and build confidence in their ability to grow.

I am committed to creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and empowered. Together, we will explore what you need to move toward balance, resilience, and lasting change. Reaching out for support is a powerful first step, and I would be honored to walk with you as you pursue a more fulfilling life.

Get to know Stacey

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?

I became a therapist to assist individuals and families with healing and growth in becoming the best version of themselves.

What types of clients do you work best with?

I work best with clients who are ready for self-growth and to gain a new perspective on life.

What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?

I wish people knew that change is scary. However, committing to change will ensure a life of growth, evolution, and progress towards a better you.

What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?

I provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients can feel heard and respected. Each individual will have a warm and inviting place to tell their story with minimal interruptions and unconditional emotional support.

How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?

The individuals I work with engage in open dialogue with me; therefore, they are encouraged to reflect and evaluate the effectiveness of each technique.
