About Sean
I am a Licensed Master Social Worker with experience in community mental health, trauma treatment, and addiction recovery. I primarily work with adults struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, OCD, relationship difficulties, and life stressors. Many of the people I work with are tired of simply surviving and want to better understand themselves, break unhealthy patterns, and build more fulfilling lives. I believe healing happens through genuine connection, and I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where lasting change can occur.
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each person’s needs. I utilize evidence-based practices including CBT, EMDR, ERP, and Internal Family Systems to help clients heal from trauma, manage anxiety and OCD, improve relationships, and develop healthier patterns that support lasting change.
Life can be difficult, but you do not have to face it alone. Whatever you are carrying, I believe healing and growth are possible. If you are ready to take the next step, I would be honored to walk alongside you and support you in creating the life you want.

"I believe that everyone deserves to be known beyond their diagnosis, and I work collaboratively with clients to help them rediscover their strengths and build the life they want."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I became a counselor because I believe people deserve to be understood beyond their struggles, symptoms, or past mistakes. My work has shown me how powerful it can be when someone feels truly seen, supported, and given the right tools to heal. I wanted to be part of that process—helping people find hope, rebuild trust in themselves, and create meaningful change in their lives.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work especially well with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, OCD, substance use disorders, codependency, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I have experience supporting LGBTQ+ individuals, including transgender clients, and strive to provide an affirming, nonjudgmental space where people feel safe being themselves. Many of my clients are seeking healing, stronger relationships, and freedom from patterns that keep them feeling stuck. Together, we work toward greater self-understanding, resilience, and lasting change.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
One thing I wish everyone knew is that healing is not a straight line, and you do not have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. Growth often comes in small steps, and setbacks do not mean failure. Therapy is not about fixing what is "wrong" with you—it is about understanding yourself, learning new ways of coping, and creating a life that feels more authentic and meaningful. You do not have to do it alone.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
In our first session, you can expect a relaxed, welcoming environment where we begin getting to know each other and exploring what brings you to therapy. I believe honesty, authenticity, and even laughter are important parts of the healing process, so while we will discuss difficult topics, there is also room for humor and genuine connection. In the early stages of therapy, we'll work together to understand your goals, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and develop practical tools to help you move toward meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
My practice is grounded in authenticity, compassion, and the belief that people are far more than the worst things they have experienced or the mistakes they have made. My work in addiction recovery and community mental health has taught me the importance of hope, connection, and meeting people where they are. I value honesty, humility, and humor, and I strive to create a space where clients feel accepted, challenged, and empowered to grow. I believe healing happens through relationships and that meaningful change is possible for everyone.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I believe there is no one-sizefits-all approach to therapy. I strive to meet each client where they are, taking into account their goals, strengths, values, identity, and readiness for change. I draw from evidence-based approaches such as CBT, EMDR, ERP, and Internal Family Systems, adapting treatment to fit each person’s unique needs. Some clients need practical tools and accountability, while others need space to process and heal. My goal is to create a collaborative experience that feels supportive, authentic, and meaningful.
