Why did you decide to become a counselor?
I’ve always believed that every person deserves to feel seen, understood, and supported. I became a therapist because I care deeply about helping people reconnect with themselves — their voice, their needs, their boundaries, their possibilities. I find meaning in guiding others through transitions, healing, and growth, and I feel honored to be trusted in that process.
What type of clients are you most excited to work with?
I am especially passionate about working with individuals who are in a period of change — whether that’s identity exploration, relational patterns, anxiety, burnout, or rediscovering who they are. I enjoy working with clients who are curious, open, or simply willing to try — even if they don’t feel confident yet. You do not need to have everything figured out. We figure it out together.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew?
That healing is not about being perfect — it’s about learning how to respond to life with more compassion and clarity than before. There’s no “right way” to be in therapy. You get to show up exactly as you are.
Why did you choose to practice at Thriveworks?
Thriveworks allows me to support clients consistently, accessibly, and without long waitlists. I appreciate that Thriveworks prioritizes client-centered care and provides space for therapists to show up authentically while still offering a supportive structure.
What inspires you?
People’s capacity to grow. The way someone can shift their entire life with insight, courage, and support. I’m inspired every day by resilience — not the polished version of strength, but the quiet, honest kind that happens when someone decides they deserve more.
What can clients expect in their first session with you?
A calm, grounded space where you don’t have to perform, prepare, or prove anything. We’ll explore what brings you in, what you’re hoping for, and what feels most present in your life right now. My priority is that you feel safe, understood, and not rushed.
What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?
I want to help you feel a sense of support and direction — even if the direction is still unfolding. Together, we will start making meaning of what you’re experiencing and identify what you need moving forward.
What should clients know about you before scheduling a first counseling session?
I believe therapy is a collaborative relationship. We work as a team. I will always meet you with respect, empathy, and curiosity — never judgment. I welcome your questions, your honesty, and your humanness.
What do you do for fun/on your time off?
I love being in nature, walking with my dog, listening to music, reading, traveling, and exploring new creative interests. I value quiet mornings, meaningful conversation, and moments that remind me of presence and connection.
What's one thing about you that defines you (non-professional)?
I am genuinely fascinated by people — their stories, their inner worlds, their growth, their resilience. I see life as something we’re continually learning how to participate in more fully, and I try to meet both myself and others with curiosity, care, and openness.
