Her continued opinion/fact based advice and questions. Previous counselors usually just sat and listened and sometimes question but won't give an opinion. I appreciate the opinion ....

I especially appreciate being able to do appointments virtually. Ria is very accommodating, genuine, caring and has a sense of humor which is very much needed.

Get to know Glikeria

Why did you decide to become a counselor?

I became a counselor to be the support that people needed in the most difficult times in their lives. To help people see that they can make it through, and that there is relief when you put in the work through therapy.

What types of clients do you work with best?

I work well with clients that are willing to put in the work. I also can be that little push that helps someone who needs to get to their goal.

What type of clients are you most excited to work with?

I have a passion to work with clients that are wanting to make that change to create a life worth living.

What's one thing you wish all clients knew?

I wish clients knew that I hold their vulnerabilities to the upmost honor, and they remain safe within our session.

Why did you choose to practice at Thriveworks?

I choose to practice at Thriveworks so that I can provide a flexible schedule to my clients --which includes either face-to-face or virtual sessions.

What inspires you?

When I see my clients reach their goal, that is what inspires me.

What can clients expect in their first session with you?

A client will expect a welcoming first session. I like to get to know what brings you in for therapy, and what we would like to accomplish on this journey.

What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?

I would like to accomplish a set goal on what symptoms/concerns/issues you would like to work on.

What's one thing about you that defines you (non-professional)?

I am caring, and I am tough.
