About Eric
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I hold a master's degree from Wayne State University. I’m licensed in Michigan with eight years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with relationship issues, trauma and abuse, and intimacy-related issues.
My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and strengths-based, focusing on helping clients identify patterns, build practical coping skills, and develop greater self-awareness. I tailor each session to meet your unique needs, recognizing that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy.
My hope is that you'll find a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, valued, and empowered to create meaningful change. When you're ready, I invite you to take the next step and begin your journey toward healing and growth.

"I believe you are the expert on your own story and possess unique strengths that can help you navigate life's challenges. My role is to support, empower, and walk alongside you as you work toward your goals. I strive to create a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable exploring your thoughts, emotions, and experiences openly. Together, we'll build on your strengths, develop practical tools, and foster meaningful growth at a pace that feels right for you."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I became a counselor because I believe everyone deserves to feel heard, understood, and supported through life's challenges. I've always been drawn to helping others.
What types of clients do you work best with?
Individuals with depression/trauma.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
Therapy is a place where you can be yourself, speak openly without judgment, and learn practical tools to better manage life's challenges. Progress takes time, but every step forward matters.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
Building a rapport, homework assignments (not required but does help).
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
My approach to therapy is shaped by both my professional training and my personal life experiences. Growing up, I experienced adversity that taught me how important it is to have someone who listens without judgment and offers genuine support. Living with a visual impairment has also given me a deeper appreciation for resilience, adaptability, and the many ways people overcome challenges that others may not see. These experiences have strengthened my empathy.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I believe there is no onesize-fits-all approach to therapy. Every client brings their own experiences, strengths, values, and goals, so I tailor treatment to meet their individual needs.
