About Taylor
Taylor Klein is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Massachusetts. She has more than 12 years of experience working with children, adults, and older adults with a variety of mental health issues. She is seasoned in working with individuals and families that struggle with severe behavioral disorders, and cognitive disorders such as Autism and Down Syndrome. She is also competent in helping those with LGBTQIA+ issues and those with complex mental health and addiction.
Taylor graduated from Johnson & Wales University with an M.S. in counseling psychology and a concentration in Addiction Management. She then obtained her second masters degree, her M.A., from William James College. Taylor is currently a 4th year doctoral student studying clinical psychology at William James College where she will obtain her PSYD next year. At the moment, Taylor is working on her dissertation where she is focusing on Autism Spectrum Disorder and the effects of adaptive behavior on symptom severity across the lifespan.
Taylor has a holistic approach toward therapy while employing effective communication, active listening, and psychoeducation in her practice. She tailors her style to an individual's needs. Taylor believes that possessing a client-centered mindset is a beneficial way to build a positive relationship.

Get to know Taylor
Why did you decide to become a counselor?
I believe that therapy has a negative stigma attached to it. Due to this, I wanted to become a counselor in order to help others work through their life's situations to the best of their ability without fear of being stereotyped, and feeling as though they are isolated.
What types of clients do you work with best?
Clients that engaged in treatment and have goals that they would like to work on.

Your experiences are yours, and yours alone. You are valid in your feelings.

What can clients expect in their first session with you?
Clients can expect to engage with an honest and candid therapist that does not sugar coat issues, or beat around the bush. I try to provide clients with raw data, and tangible skills they can use to better their own understanding of their health.
What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?
I would love to accomplish a positive working relationship.
What do you do for fun/on your time off?
I love to hike, and sing.

One thing that defines me is my style. I am laid back and relaxed.
