About Nadia Therese
I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) who has over 7 years of experience in mental health. My specialties include treating PTSD, anxiety management and attachment-based issues in relationships. I utilize a warm, non-judgmental, strengths-based approach to therapeutic healing, seeing the whole person rather than focusing on deficits. I also take a culturally informed approach to therapy through honoring diversity of culture and faith, and experience healing from cultural and religious discrimination.
I graduated from Rutgers University with a Master's degree in Social Work. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), Gestalt therapy, Behavioral activation, reflective listening and mindfulness approaches to help clients reach their individual potential and goals.
We all find challenges towards our inner potential coming out to fruition whether real (structural/actual) or perceived, but change is possible when given the right tools and direction. I am a big supporter of individualism believes in finding and bringing out your potential. Schedule with me today.

"As a nurse and social worker, I see the importance of a somatic approach to mind and body wellness."
