Molly has been working with individuals with a wide range of concerns including mood disorders, anxiety, relationship issues, life stressors, career challenges, and substance use issues. She has worked in various clinical settings such as outpatient counseling offices, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, partial hospital programs, hospital emergency rooms, community health centers, and multidisciplinary teams.
Molly completed her Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology at the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth and her Master of Social Work (MSW) (Clinical) at Boston University. Molly is a reliable, compassionate, nonjudgmental, and collaborative professional with a strong passion for helping others. She has a warm, respectful, and understanding approach with a goal of making therapy a comfortable and supportive environment. Molly’s former clients have experienced her to have a strong commitment to assisting them in feeling heard and identifying short-term/long-term goals, being an active participant in their success, and prioritizing a strong and supportive therapeutic alliance.
Molly utilizes an interactive approach, believing that treatment should be unique and specific to each individual, however the main treatment modalities she incorporates in treatment are CBT, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy. Molly believes that it takes a great deal of courage to be open to change, increase self-awareness, and/or to work towards improving one’s happiness and satisfaction with life. She is here to be a support to you if/when you are ready to take this step. Molly encourages you to reach out to her with any questions you may have or to better determine if she would be a good fit for you as a therapist.
