About Angelo
Angelo Conti is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who works with adults seeking help with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, men’s issues, and more. Angelo completed his Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology at Stonehill College and his Masters of Arts (MA) in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at William James College.
Angelo uses an eclectic approach from his years studying under those of different psychoeducational backgrounds. He focuses on cognitive behavioral, mindfulness and meditation, and client-centered approaches to allow clients to explore what is going on in a way that feels most comfortable and appropriate for them.
Angelo looks to create a strong and empathic relationship with you in order to be beneficial with exploring issues as well as solutions, whether that be through setting goals or gaining clarity on different topics.

Why did you decide to become a counselor?
I decided to become a counselor because I have always felt a calling to help others, as well as counseling being helpful for myself in the past.
What types of clients do you work with best?
I have frequently worked with adults seeking help with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, men’s issues and more.
What type of clients are you most excited to work with?
I am always excited to work with those who are motivated to try new coping skills and ways to challenge themselves.
What’s one thing you wish all clients knew?
That they are not alone in the challenges that they face, even during times where it may feel that way.
Why did you choose to practice at Thriveworks?
Thriveworks has a wide variety of resources and support that I wouldn't be able to find anywhere else.
What inspires you?
Being able to think or say that I have helped even one person that day has inspired me to continue and to make the strides that I have.
What can clients expect in their first session with you?
They can expect to find support and an understanding that hopefully matches their needs.
What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?
I want to be able to build a treatment plan that matches their ideals and hopes for counseling.
What do you do for fun/on your time off?
I enjoy spending time with friends, reading, watching movies, and playing video games.

I would have to say my easy going personality and sense of humor.
