Why did you decide to become a counselor?
Growing up I quickly realized that those around me naturally gravitated towards me in terms of opening up and discussing their personal challenges. Through the process of listening and assisting friends and family, I realized that my empathic nature was well suited for a profession in which I could support others in their journey of personal growth.
What type of clients are you most excited to work with?
I am most excited to work with clients who are open-minded, inquisitive, and not afraid to speak their mind. I find that clients who are open to feedback and also give feedback themselves have the best results as it allows me to tailor treatment approaches to individual preferences.
What do you do for fun/on your time off?
I enjoy working out, cooking, getting together with friends and family, and taking my dog for walks.
