About Taryn
I am a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC) with 7 years of experience in the mental health field. I have had the privilege of helping adults navigate life transitions, depression, anxiety, and other challenges that impact their emotional well-being. My goal is to create a compassionate, safe space where individuals feel seen, supported, and empowered to grow at their own pace.
I hold a master’s in clinical counseling from Emporia State University. I primarily use cognitive behavioral therapy techniques to help clients identify how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors influence daily life. My approach emphasizes collaboration and skill-building to foster long-term emotional balance.
I’m passionate about helping clients explore both current and past struggles to discover lasting growth and healing. I’m here to be part of your journey toward self-understanding and resilience, and I look forward to supporting you as you take steps toward meaningful change.

"As one who has experienced personal loss and hardships, I have a genuine understanding of how we are impacted by trauma and difficult circumstances and how we can build new coping mechanisms that can empower healing."

Our first session I call the “get to know you”. My goal is to identify here you are at and why may be the best next steps for us to pro on together. We will create goals and a plan that meet your needs.
