About Georgia
I am a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC) with 11 years of experience supporting adolescents, adults, couples, and families through life transitions, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and relationship challenges. I am passionate about helping people find healing, growth, and balance as they navigate difficult seasons of life. My approach is collaborative, warm, and centered on creating a safe space where you feel understood, supported, and empowered to move toward meaningful change.
I earned my master’s in clinical mental health counseling from the University of Texas at Tyler. I integrate cognitive behavioral therapy, attachment-based therapy, family systems, and creative therapeutic tools to meet each client’s needs. I also focus on helping clients build skills that encourage resilience and long-term emotional well-being.
You do not need to have everything figured out to begin therapy. I am here to listen with compassion and help you take steps toward healing at your own pace. When you are ready, we can begin this journey together and work toward creating a healthier, more balanced, and fulfilling life.

"I genuinely understand how confusing and overwhelming it can feel when life seems to be falling apart, but finding new tools for healing can help us find strength and hope again."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
From an early age and throughout my life, I’ve seen how valuable it is to have support during tough times. That’s what inspired me to become a counselor—to create a warm, supportive space where clients feel heard and empowered to face challenges and grow stronger.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work well with clients of all ages who are open and ready to dive into the process. My eclectic approach is shaped by your unique story, goals, and challenges. Together, we’ll build on your strengths and find the best ways to support your growth and healing.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
I wish every client knew how brave it is to take that first step toward seeking help. It takes real courage to show up, even when feeling uncertain or vulnerable, and that alone is a strong and powerful act.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
Our first session is about getting to know each other and exploring your history, challenges, and what you hope to achieve. This information guides how I can best assist you. The early phase of therapy centers on building trust and providing a welcoming, safe environment for your growth.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
My work is guided by a strong belief in the power of empathy, respect, and connection. From early life experiences and my background in clinical mental health and crisis work, I’ve seen how crucial compassionate support can be during tough times. I aim to foster a safe, welcoming space where everyone feels valued and encouraged to heal and grow.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I shape therapy by really listening to each client’s story, goals, and challenges. Using a mix of evidence-based techniques, I focus on finding what works best for them. Together, we build a personalized plan that matches their needs, strengths, and pace, making sure therapy feels meaningful and effective.
