What types of clients do you work with best?
I work best with adolescent clients and young adults. I love learning about pop culture and always try and keep up with the latest trends. I also provide a non-judgmental space and meet them where they are at, which a lot of teens and young adults respect.
What type of clients are you most excited to work with?
I am excited to work with clients who are experiencing life changes or transitions and support them in their journey. I am also excited to work with clients who are seeking help and have a willingness to show up and participate in sessions.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew?
That asking for help and support shows so much courage and strength.
Why did you choose to practice at Thriveworks?
I chose to practice at Thriveworks to reignite my passion for therapy and helping others.
What inspires you?
People and traveling inspire me. I love to see new places and meet new people every day. It brings me so much joy to learn about people and what inspires them too. I also love being seen as a supportive listener outside of my therapy job and helping a stranger by listening for 5 minutes, or even just smiling.
What can clients expect in their first session with you?
Clients can expect to be heard during their first session. I will provide a safe place for them to discuss why they sought out therapy and learn what I can do to support them on their journey and begin to identify their strengths.
What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?
I hope to learn why they sought out therapy, creating their identified goals, begin to identify their strengths, and start to build rapport and a therapeutic relationship.
What should clients know about you before scheduling a first session?
Clients should know that I am a non-judgmental therapist that meets them where they are at and provides a safe place to discuss all aspects of life.
What do you do for fun/on your time off?
For fun, I love to travel, spend time outside, connect with friends, listen to music, go to concerts, watch television, and cuddle with my 3 rescue cats.
What's one thing about you that defines you (non-professional)?
Love and happiness. I allow myself grace to feel my own feelings and process difficult situations, but I try to focus on the positives and spend time having fun and loving life as much as I can.
