About Provider

About Courtney

I am a licensed social worker (LSW) with 2 years of experience working with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, anger, relationship issues, and other life challenges. My approach is warm, collaborative, and focused on building trust so clients can explore their emotions in a safe space. I believe in helping individuals develop practical tools for emotional regulation, communication, and personal growth, while reminding them that healing is a journey, not a destination.

I earned my master’s in social work from Indiana Wesleyan University. My therapeutic style combines a strengths-based, relational perspective with evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and emotionally focused approaches.

Nobody should feel alone in their struggles. My goal is to provide an uplifting and supportive environment where clients can process difficult emotions, build resilience, and move toward lifelong change. I am here to walk alongside you through every valley and mountaintop because it’s never too late to reach out for help.

Get to know Courtney

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?

I strive to be the kind of therapist that I needed when I was growing up. I aim to be empathetic and understanding while equipping clients with real and practical coping skills.

What types of clients do you work best with?

I work well with adolescents and adults who are seeking mental health treatment or additional support through life's struggles.

What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?

Therapy isn't about fixing what's broken or going to someone for advice; therapy means showing up as your authentic self. The healing process may not be easy, but it is worth it, and therapy will help support you along every step of the way.

What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?

I prioritize getting to know each other, establishing trust, and collaborating to select mutually agreed-upon goals for therapy.

What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?

I grew up with my own struggles of anxiety, depression, and relationship issues, and realized that therapy can be a powerful tool for overcoming life's obstacles alongside a professional who truly cares.

How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?

The initial session sets the tone for the entirety of the therapeutic process, and I strive to meet each client where they are at by allowing them to set their goals and provide insight as to what they want out of therapy.
