Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?


I chose this field to empower and give confidence to people. I was luckily enough to be gifted with a supportive family, I have encounter many people who have not.


What types of clients do you work with best?


I feel I work best with clients who are ready for change in their life, they many not know how to change but they have the courage to take the first step.


What type of clients are you most excited to work with?


I am excited to work with clients who have te courage to take the first step to get help. It doesn't matter what the presenting problem may be, it matters that they have made the decision to make the first step


What's one thing you wish all clients knew?


I wish all clients knew that change is possible if they are willing to start the process. There is a whole world of possibilities and helpful people.


Why did you choose to practice at Thriveworks?


I chose to work at Thriveworks because I am able to see people with all types of presenting problems and I feel I can make a difference.


What inspires you?


I am inspired by people who see that there needs to be a change and take action to change whether it is in their life or in the world.


What can clients expect in their first session with you?


At the first session, Clients should expect a warm and inviting setting with a person who will ask questions to better understand the client and the problem that brought them to seek help.


What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?


My goal during the first session is provide a accepting environment so the client knows this is a safe place to be and I am a safe person to share their thoughts and feelings.


What should clients know about you before scheduling a first session?


People should know that I am a naturally curious person and will ask questions to better understand my clients.


What do you do for fun/on your time off?


Foe fun I like to watch scary movies and read books. I like taking my dog for walks and spending time with my family.


What's one thing about you that defines you (non-professional)?


I feel that thing that defines me is I am a positive person and am very accepting of other people.
