Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
There have been times when I've gone through difficult times, and it has always helped me to have someone who's been trained to talk to and guide me through these difficult times. Therefore, I want to give guidance to people like I received.
What inspires you?
Watching clients learn and grow into a healthy person who can successfully live life despite their life struggles and mental health problems.
What can clients expect in their first session with you?
When you first meet with Jackie, she will work with you to build rapport, getting to know you, and helping you feel comfortable with working with you.
What do you do for fun/on your time off?
On my time off I enjoy doing crafts and playing with my dog and cat. I used to ballroom dance but right now I am not physically dancing. I enjoy listening to music and dancing in my head. I also enjoying having game nights with my friends on a regular basis.
What's one thing about you that defines you (non-professional)?
Having a sense of humor.
