I am an associate professional counselor in Georgia, and I support clients who've been carrying a heavy load alone and are finally ready for relief from always having to be strong. I work with children experiencing big feelings they can't yet name, teens trying to understand who they are, and adults navigating trauma, anxiety, or major life transitions. My clients often want to feel more regulated, connected, and grounded, understand their emotions, and break old patterns. I offer a warm, steady space where you can feel seen rather than judged, understood rather than dismissed, and supported as you build tools that fit your life.
I specialize in trauma, anxiety, emotional regulation, and life transitions, using person-centered, trauma-informed care with therapeutic play foundations, mindfulness, somatic awareness, and strengths-based practices. I support clients in developing communication and coping skills. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
I offer a supportive, goal‑focused space where you can explore what's been challenging and gain clarity about your next steps. If you're considering therapy, I welcome you to reach out so we can explore whether working together aligns with the changes you are hoping to make.

"I’m a trauma‑informed therapist who blends warmth, clinical precision, and a deep respect for each person’s lived experience to help clients feel safe, seen, and capable of meaningful change."
Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I began working as a mental health professional in 2014 in a Crisis Unit, where supporting acute patients gave me a deeper understanding of the realities people face when living with significant mental health challenges. Over time, I developed a strong passion for serving these populations through a compassionate, human‑centered approach. I strive to help my clients feel safe, understood, and free from judgment, offering a space where they can show up as they are and feel supported throughout our work together.
What types of clients do you work best with?
Children and adolescents.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
We all experience moments of mental distress; the difference lies in learning how to cope and finding support, because every emotion has a purpose and with balance and understanding, each one can guide us rather than overwhelm us.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
An open, judgment‑free space where getting to know the client is the most important part of the work. I strive to create an environment where healing feels possible, moving at the client’s pace and offering gentle challenges only when they feel ready.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
Honesty, empathy, and compassion.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I tailor therapy by getting to know each client’s story, strengths, and pace, and then shaping the work around what feels most supportive and effective for them. I draw from trauma‑informed, person‑centered care, integrating play‑based approaches, mindfulness, somatic awareness, and strengths‑based practices depending on what each client needs. Some clients benefit from structure and clear goals; others need space to explore and feel understood before moving toward change. I adjust my approach session by session, offering gentle challenges only when they’re ready, and creating a safe, collaborative environment where healing can unfold in a way that feels authentic to them.
