About Mary

Mary Hansen is a Licensed Master of Social Work with 6 years of experience in the mental health field. She specializes in working with individuals facing anxiety and depression. In the past four years, she has worked both inpatient and outpatient roles, giving her a broad scope of how important mental health is for individuals. Mary’s goal is to work collaboratively with clients to give them the necessary tools and empower them to improve their lives. With a person-centered and strengths-based approach, she aims to create a safe space to explore the challenges they face.

Mary completed her undergrad and her Master of Social Work at the University of Georgia. Mary's approach to therapy stems from a person-centered lens, seeing that clients are the experts on their own experiences. She uses skills derived from various therapeutic approaches to better fit a client's individual needs.
